Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how WebCentauri Technologies (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit this website or contact us.

Information We Collect

When you submit our contact or consultation form we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, website and project information. We also collect limited technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, to protect the website from spam and abuse.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you request.
  • To prepare estimates, proposals and project communication.
  • To maintain the security and performance of our website.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond to you and manage any resulting business relationship, or as required by law.

Website analytics are kept for 13 months and then deleted automatically. Chat conversations are kept for as long as the related enquiry, so we can act on what you told us.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies it needs to function, such as the one that keeps an administrator signed in. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies, and we do not load any third-party tracking scripts. If you use the chat assistant, your browser keeps the conversation in its local storage so it survives a page change; that data stays on your device and is not a cookie.

Website Analytics

We measure how the website is used so we can improve it. Our analytics run on our own server and do not use cookies or send anything to a third party. For each visit we record the pages viewed, the time of the visit, the page that referred you, any campaign tags in the link you followed, and the type of device, browser, operating system and language your browser reports. If our location database is enabled, we also derive an approximate country and city from your IP address; the address itself is not stored.

To tell visits apart we create a hashed identifier from your IP address, your browser type and a secret value that changes every day and is never written down. The hash cannot be turned back into your address, and because the secret changes daily, visits on different days cannot be linked to the same person. We keep these statistics for 13 months and then delete them automatically.

Spam Protection

Our contact forms include a short "I'm not a robot" check that asks one simple question. It is built and run by us, not by a third party. Completing it creates a temporary token that is held for up to 20 minutes and then discarded; no personal information is collected by the check itself.

Chat Assistant

If you use the chat assistant, we store the messages you send, the page you were on, your IP address and your browser type alongside the conversation, so our team can follow up on your enquiry and understand any problem you describe. Anything you share in the chat is treated in the same way as details submitted through our contact form. The assistant is automated: it recognises common questions and problems and may quote an indicative price range, but it does not make decisions about you and a member of our team reviews every enquiry.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us through our contact page.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with its effective date.
